Slug permeability test

Disrupting the ground in the test section is minimal! It reduces water level fluctuations and allows for shorter measurement times.

We would like to introduce the "Slag Permeability Test" that we conduct. This test involves inserting or withdrawing a heavy waterproof cylindrical pipe (slag) into or from the water surface, which causes fluctuations in the water level within the test tube, and records the changes in water head. The testing method is almost the same as the field permeability test, but it differs in that the water level fluctuations are caused by the insertion and withdrawal of the slag, and that a water level gauge is used for measuring the water level. 【Features】 - The water head difference applied is smaller compared to field permeability tests. - There is less disturbance to the ground in the test section. - By minimizing water level fluctuations, the measurement time can be shortened. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Permeable concrete permeability test (constant water level)

Introduction to the permeability test of permeable concrete using the constant water level method established by the Geotechnical Engineering Society.

This test follows the constant water level method established by the Geotechnical Engineering Society. However, to verify and confirm whether the seepage flow follows Darcy's law, we will change the hydraulic gradient, measure the flow rate, and graph the results. To enhance the reliability of the permeability coefficient, we will perform a linear regression analysis based on the relationship between the hydraulic gradient and flow rate that is believed to be within the laminar flow region (i≦0.1, including the theoretical values of hydraulic gradient i=0 and flow rate v=0). 【Overview】 ■ Sample Type: Permeable Concrete ■ Sample Number: No.1 ■ Type of Cement Used: NP ■ Name of Admixture Used: Beacon + S *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
